Fisherman’s Rib, in the Round

This post was originally published on one of my other sites. I’m including the tutorial material here, as well.

Written version:
Cast on an even number of stitches, and work one row of k1, p1 ribbing. I used a tubular cast-on, so mine was set to go as soon as the cast-on was completed.
Round 1: k1b, p1* repeat from *
Round 2: k1, p1b* repeat from *
Repeat these two rounds until ready to bind off – knit one row of k1, p1 ribbing, then bind off loosely.

Stitch Guide:

k1b – Knit one below (Insert the needle into the knit stitch below the stitch on the needle, knit, and slide both stitches off the needle)

p1b – Purl one below (Insert the needle into the purl stitch below the stitch on the needle, purl, and slide both stitches off the needle)
