Vagary Socks

I feel like there should be fanfare for this…my first ever sock pattern! 😛

However, I’ll hold the trumpets and drum roll until I get feedback, seeing as how this isn’t tech-edited or test knit, and is more of a recipe than a pattern.

Knit these socks at your own risk, in other words, and I’m here to clarify if you run into trouble.

This pattern does incorporate my Curvilinear Heel Recipe. It’s written for 72 stitch socks, and the length is adjustable to your foot.

The lace portion of the sock is charted only.

  • You’ll need 100g of sock yarn – I used Lang Jawoll Color in the Rainbow colourway.
  • A size 0 / 2mm 40″ circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge. (The pattern is written for Magic Loop, but you can of course use any needles you prefer!)
  • Stitch markers will come in handy for the lace repeats and for working the heel – you’ll need 4.
