Ankle Biter Socks – Wednesday WIP
This week’s WIP is a bit unexpected…warm(ish) weather has hit here in Canada, and The Boy dug out his summer wardrobe.
He’s almost a teen, which is old enough to care about making a fashion faux pas, and this was the first year I didn’t have to remind him to not wear his calf-high socks with summer shorts and sneakers.
However, he’s outgrown last year’s socks…
Which led to him running into the room where I was, and announcing “I need new ankle socks, Mom…let me look.”
And he proceeded to dig through my stash, and find some Regia Pop Art Color*, and pronounce it perfect for this year’s ankle socks.
So I cast on last night for ankle socks, in a garter rib pattern…at least I get to be done when they are right past the heel turn 😉
I’ve also made 2.5 baby hats this week, and worked a bit more on last Wednesday’s WIP.
